The Duke and Duchess of Sussex made a sombre visit to the New Zealand High Commission in London to sign the Book of Condolence following the terrorist attacks in Christchurch last Friday.
Meghan and Harry signed the book on behalf of the British Royal Family.
While it may seem frivolousness to comment on Meghan's outfit for such an event, this blog is dedicated to cataloguing Meghan's sartorial choices, and I believe it is appropriate to make a brief mention of her outfit in this context like I do across all my blogs for such sombre occasions. I held off publishing this post until a respectful time had past so as to not take focus away from the tribute.
WHAT MEGHAN WORE
COAT: Gucci black coat with cape-style sleeves and embroidered collar.
The piece is believed to be a bespoke Gucci design and features the same enamelled tiger-head buttons as this off-the-rack coat from the Italian fashion house.

The design of the button is found in Gucci's 'Rajah' collection and the details of the design is best seen on the Gucci 'Rajah' brooch.
SHOES: Aquazzura ‘Savoy’ 105 Black Pumps (€715).
EARRINGS: Boh Runga 'Feather Kiss' Gold Discologo Studs (repeat) . These earrings were a gift from New Zealand's Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern and were worn extensively by Meghan during last year's royal visit to New Zealand.
