Meghan dons Dior and Valentino for Global Citizen Live Festival

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended the Global Citizen Live Festival in Central Park on Saturday, concluding their 3-day New York City visit.

Global Citizen Live is a 24-hour global event to unite the world to defend the planet and defeat poverty. The couple took to the stage to deliver a joint powerful speech addressing the need for COVID-19 vaccine equality.

“My wife and I believe that where you’re born should not dictate your ability to survive,” says Harry. “It is wrong that so much of the vaccine supply has only gone to just 10 wealthy nations so far. . . It’s just not okay,” adds Meghan.

Meghan & Harry Kick Off New York City Visit

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex kicked off their trip to New York City on Thursday morning with a visit to the One World Observatory.

They joined the Mayor of New York City, Bill de Blasio and his family, and the New York governor Kathy Hochul on the observation deck of the One World Trade Center.

The couple's somber outfit choice came as they visited New York just a fortnight after the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks. They returned to ground level to pay their respects at the 9/11 Memorial.

Meghan and Harry are in the city to attend the Global Citizen Live event which plans to urge world leaders to adopt a more equitable vaccine policy.
