Meghan Markle and Prince Harry made a surprise appearance in Belfast today for their first official joint visit to Northern Ireland. The engagement was unannounced beforehand due to security concerns.
The couple met young people who are shaping the future of Belfast and saw some of the city’s best loved sites, including the The Crown Liquor Saloon, and the iconic Titanic Belfast.

Meghan Markle attended her first official event alongside the Queen this afternoon when she joined Prince Harry and senior members of the Royal family for the annual Commonwealth Day Service at Westminster Abbey.
Commonwealth Day is a celebration of the Commonwealth of Nations held on the second Monday in March each year. The multi-faith service is usually attended by the Queen in her role as Head of the Commonwealth.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry visited Birmingham today to mark International Women's Day. The trip is part of their public engagements in the run-up to their wedding on 19 May. It follows trips to Nottingham, Brixton, Cardiff, and Scotland.
They started with a walkabout, before seeing a project aimed at inspiring girls in STEM subjects - science, technology, engineering and math. Later they attended a Coach Core engagement.
