The Duke and Duchess of Sussex joined The Queen and senior members of the Royal Family at Westminster Abbey this afternoon for a multi-faith service to observe Commonwealth Day. Earlier this morning, Meghan and Harry marked the day with a visit to Canada House.

Lovely, elegant outfit except for the hat. That hat is awful and it distracts from an otherwise fantastic outfit.
Elizabeth, you are doing such a fantastic job on this blog, I can't imagine the work that goes into it but it is much appreciated.

Uuuhh, the hat! A big moan was heard yesterday going through the fan community. What an awful hat. Well, I checked with Jackie O. and she wore the Pillbox hats only with her hair open, at least on the pictures I saw. So you can wear this hat either with the hair open or you have your hair in a severe knot and wear a different hat.
I love the coat, I would not have chosen the dress, but it looks good together and I like the green shoes and green clutch.

Anyhow "my" favourite "whale" beams with happiness and therefore looks good in nearly everything, even in a potato sack.

I love the dress, the texture of the coat and those shoes...green!!!

I don’t like the hat at all...it makes me think of an old nursing uniform.

Jessica I had the same thought as you about the hat - part of an old fashioned nursing uniform where a hat like that one ‘held the nurses hair in place’.

I love the print on the dress and the textured winter white coat — lately she’s worn some fabulous prints. Being a textile designer I appreciate anyone with good taste in textiles. The green accessories are a nice touch and I like the unusual shaped clutch also. She looks stunning as usual — when I first saw the hat it reminded me of Jackie....

Poor hat. It gets no love. And it won't get any from me. Everything else is lovely. I like surprise linings, and this one is no exception. For the life of me I can't understand how the shoes and clutch are reading different colors when I'm sure they are the same fabric from the same designer. Maybe different dye lots? Maybe the construction process changed the color or sheen of one? So, no fault of the DoSu. I hope she can wear her rings soon. Not much longer!

I really like this outfit. I think the reason Meghan has not worn her engagement ring is due to swelling from being pregnant. Many pregnant women can’t wear their rings during the final months of pregnancy.
