Meghan Markle and fiancé Prince Harry celebrated Christmas with the Royal Family at Sandringham and started their day by attending the traditional Christmas service at St. Mary Magadelene's Church on the country estate.

Although Meghan has attended private gatherings with the extended Royal family, this was her first public appearance with members of the House of Windsor.

Beautiful choice of coat and all the accessories that go with it. Subdued but yet very elegant. Meghan could not do better.

I thought this was a very well judged outfit by Meghan, perhaps more so than the engagement photos. These neutral tones kept her presence as low key as it could be with a world of royal fans watching.

I'm impressed how the baby alpaca in the coat helped it sit so well, even with a tie belt which can be such a bulky style touch. Love the seaming details on the cuffs

Also amused to see the hat matches Harry's beard. I love the hat, an unusual take on a beret shape and with a clever hint of irreverence in the twisted detail. The way the circular bag echoed the hat shape is masterly and the boots are gorgeous. An impressive debut in my book
