The accessories with the outfit are lovely, A+ for the hat and shoes. Love the soft colour palate and her hair looks amazing.
The dress is lovely but needs tailoring, it just doesn't seem to fit her well. She looks so happy, absolutely glowing.

Her hair looks great, but then again it always does. I really did not like this dress. The color and styling aged her. I like her in bright colors-striking against her dark hair. This dusty rose washed her out and did nothing for her in my opinion.

I like the dress with the accessories. This is the start of many many public events and she will not always dress to everybodys liking and maybe not even to her own, but she has to wear something. Can you imagine the scandal if she didn't ;-) I like the overall look and I liked her giggling. :D

I love this outfit to bits and I'm especially enraptured that Meghan knows how to get such a smooth updo. Here was I thinking maybe she just didn't have the kind of hair that could ever stay in place, but it looks like someone found a solution to the escaping strands this time.

I can't believe how effortlessly Meghan can adopt a real duchessy outfit, I begin to wonder if she's had an inner royal all along which is only now coming out. She no longer needs to go quite so form-fitting and flirty as an actress may need to in a bid to be noticed. Maybe the new dress code comes as a relief.

And I love the quirky Meghan touches which remain. The hat is so minimal and bare of ornament as to be unusual in royal circles, and it has terrific offbeat asymmetry in the higher edge being wider than the rest. She has incorporated frayed edges on neck and cuffs -- maybe to make up for no stray locks of hair?! -- plus she has shoes with pvc inserts and that delightfully elegant but unusual clutch. Modern Meg still rocks!

Yes, I also came to the conclusion that Meghan's hair cannot be controlled and that she and we have to live with her hair doing what it likes. But see, somebody forced it into style and it had no chance to escape. :-)

Meghan is incredible I think. If I go shopping for a dress a pale rose would be the last colour I would look at. Meghan sees all those little things, like those rings and the earrings as well as the bracelets. I admire that. Wonderful.
