It was the first Major League Baseball game to be played in Europe, and the royal couple joined 60,000 spectators to watch the match between these two American teams. They used the occasion to promote Prince Harry's Invictus Games Foundation which partnered with the MLB's two-game London Series.

I love your earring find more than Meghan's. 😂

Thank you 🤗 I love the 'organic' look of the mimic version

It's great to see the Duchess out and about, but this is yet another outfit of Meghan's I don't like. However, I like that she kept her look understated for the occasion. I love those 'mimic' earrings too :)

Agreed. She is beautiful, always. Just wonder about the fashion choices...

Best thing about this dress are the pockets. I love dresses with pockets. Wish she wore heels but understand the need to wear flats for this occasion.

I think a low heel wedge would have worked better than flats.

Agree about the flats. I don't know whether it is the heel height or the style, but they made her feet look stumpy, especially in the photos on the black carpet background where she looks as though she has club feet (which she does not).

However, this dress wasn't made for a wedge.. I'd go with a 1-2 inch block heel.

I honestly believe that Meghan keeps falling into an easy-to-miss trap. Not all clothes are made to fit all body types. Certain items may look magnificent in online photos, on a model, in the store's hangers, but they may look disatsrous when worn by a specific person. I think Meghan needs to expand her wardrobe in a different direction. This dress, as beautiful and modern as it may be, made me think that she is stocky upon first glance, and we all know she is anything but. The skirt is supposed to be flared, but instead gives me the impression of an innapropriate, tight fit. Another repeated mistake is that her clothes are more often than not wrinkled by the time we see her. How hard can it possibly be to ensure that this doesn't happen? She simply ends up looking like a mess, a look most certainly unfit for a royal. I like the shoes, a simple and elegant design, but quite frankly, can't she move on tp anything different? We have seen this style in all possibly heel heights and colour variations, I am sure she can expand on different brands and styles.

Completely agree. This isn’t very flattering on her. I think something with more movement would have been a better choice...a maxi or wrap dress. Also agree that she and Harry constantly show up to events disheveled...I don’t really understand how that consistently happens at a job with this kind of visability. All of the other lesser royals (Zara, Beatrice, Eugenie) are always neatly pressed. I do really like these shoes...also agree with a previous poster that wedges would have been nice as well.

Agree on both points.

Regarding the wrinkling, this dress is a viscose/elastane blend. Viscose wrinkles like linen and the elastane "holds" the wrinkle.

Regarding fit, she is short waisted (deceased distance from shoulders to waist) and her waist is large compared to her hips. You can see it from the bunching in the chest/arm hole area. This is difficult to alter, which is why I think that she prefers sleeveless dresses (they are easier to take up at the shoulders.)

She either needs to choose dresses with no defined waist that float away under the bust area, or she needs to have her dresses made to measure. She would do better with fewer dresses that fit properly..

Great dress for going to the office or a daytime meeting but maybe not so great for a baseball game in midsummer? Nice to see her out and about!

With all due respect, I really think these comments are being way too harsh on Duchess Meghan. She JUST had a baby and looks amazing! The Duchess is at a baseball game for goodness sake, and yet is still looking regal. Most importantly, she appears happy and in good health which is all that matters.

Yes Meghan is beautiful and we are all aware she just had a baby, but this is a fashion blog so we are free to discuss our likes and dislikes in that context. I think the comments on this blog are respectful and not harsh, and they focus on the clothing and styling. Many of us also visit this blog to get ideas on how to style our own outfits with Meghan as the inspiration. So we may love a dress but not the shoes (or vice versa) and it's fun to read people's comments on how they would style it better, or for which body shape it would suit etc etc

Greetings Milly (I love your name!), I am very well aware that this is a fashion blog, appreciate and enjoy it very much, and have purchsed many of the mimic versions presented. However, in some of the above mentioned comments, the Duchess is described as looking stocky, thick-waisted, and stumpy. Which, in my opinion, is disrespectful to a woman who has just given birth. I believe there is a big difference between critiquing someone's fashion choices, and making unnecessary comments regarding someone's post-baby figure. To be perfectly honest, I really dislike the flat shoes (I detest all flat shoes really, as I am pumps girl at heart), but thought better of it because after giving birth, it is probably more comfortable for the Duchess to wear them, which is most important thing. You are absolutely right that you are free to give your opinion, and I appreciate you responding to my comment.Best to you always, Christine <3

Lovely to see the Duchess out and about, so happy and bubbly. Not a fan of this dress at all. A different design of dress would have been better. The flats didn't look right, with the dress, a small heel would have been more flattering.
