That is one snappy outfit! The dreamy tailoring on those pin-sharp lapels are classic McCartney and it's wonderful to see Meghan embrace that designer. I love the tie-up between the silky belt and the satin sheen on those boots, which themselves are a great style with their on-trend block heels. And I love the boots with the narrow leg trousers too, a great way to show off the boot features.

So excited to see an illustration of the top, what a novel treatment of a classic plaid - maybe even a bit Prince of Wales check here? The only small prob is when bending low to engage with children there's some risk of a little too much being revealed for the sake of royal decorum. But a savvy pick otherwise :)

I am annoyed as you advertised the earrings as Tutti & Co Alya Earrings Silver which I tehen purchased and now you have changed it to something else. Please get your facts correct first before you publish as now I have to try to send them back

Hi Vanessa, firstly I'm sorry this has happened. We make ID assumptions based on very limited photos at the time of publishing and as you may see my post was "in progress" and based on the information at hand. That can sometimes change. I publish what we think is accurate because many of my readers want this information ASAP so the can snag the item before it sells out. It can be rather chaotic covering the event and we do our very best to provide speedy IDs but unfortunately mistakes and oversights do happen. Again I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

Lest you think that above comment was from me, it was not. I guess there are two Vanessa's following your blogs. I'm the one that hangs out on the Queen Letizia blog as well. I think you do a commendable job identifying items for your readers and I'm kind of shocked that that other Vanessa would chastise you for it. Ignore the negative ones.. you do a great job!!!!!

"You're doing a great job!" I solidly agree! Elizabeth: I don't know how you do it. Get all the images so quick. Get the designer's name, their prices and all her accessories as well. This is a lot of work!!

I love this ensemble—classy and understated. I wonder if the black is in support of the metoo movement? I remember after Diana auctioned off many of her iconic dresses for charity (at William’s suggestion), she commented that she tired of reading about what she wore vs what causes she supported. Perhaps Meghan is heading that off early by dressing more to her own style.

I'm not a fan of this look. I like/love the pieces individually but not together. Love the coat; the bow makes it lean towards the dressy side as does the jacket underneath with its structured tailoring. Then she has on jeans, her hair is sloppy again and the rings/earring/bag all lean casual. Put them together and it's very disjointed and conflicting imho. And even though I'm not a fan of this look I am happy to have some fashion variety to look forward to which differs from other royals.

Think that's the idea, disjointed is just off point, unlike Kate Middleton who is always on point. Matter of taste, but I love it especially odd earrings! I see a new trend starting, tres chic

IT support got back to me; I assume you are using Google Chrome? The RRS Feed does not work in Chrome as there is no built in feed reader. You will need to install an extension for a feed reader. Having something like blogger extension or feedly will work. HTH x

I am using feedly in Chrome, as I do for several hundred other blogs. Will try again to set it up, and compare/contrast to other browsers. Thanks for looking into it - RSS makes it so much easier to stay current!

She's so pretty and her skin is flawless. I like the jacket and the boots. I'm wondering if she's wearing a strapless bra with that top or nothing underneath?

I like this warm winter look, especially the layers and textures she wore. I look forward to more colorful looks in the future. Her messy bun and mixed earrings won`t work in more formal settings, but I really like how Meghan is making this new role her own. I heard that the bag she wore had charitable results. This clearly was a choice to do good with her new attention. Love that.

I love this blog and can’t wait to see more of Ms. Meghan! I absolutely love the neckline of her top and will predict that this will be the style of.the bodice of her wedding dress. She has lovely collarbones and yet her shoulders will be covered unlike an American strapless wedding gown. The skirt will be sleek and modern without a lot of fuss.

I think Ms. Markle has dealt with the scrutiny of Hollywood for plenty of years. She unlike Kate or Diana has been in the spotlight. She has nothing to prove regarding her physique. I wonder if she feels a sense of freedom coming to this new role regarding her wardrobe?

Love this coat. And love the way she styled it with nice boots and black scarf. What a style icon Meghan is. :)
