The ceremony was delayed due to inclement weather, and Meghan and Harry eventually took their seats in the Opera House forecourt once the thunderstorms had past.

And because two is better than one (and in the case of stackable rings... six is better than three!), the Duchess of Sussex made us the honour of also wearing the Ecksand Secret Heart Stackable emerald and gold ring, with three beautiful sustainable gold bands in rose, white and yellow accented by an emerald heart (ethically-sourced, it goes without saying). A great start to the Invictus Games in Sydney!

Hasn’t she worn this outfit before? I don’t like the jacket hanging off the shoulders look...her stylist does that all the time too. I also agree with a previous comment from a few outfits ago that a full navy outfit would look much better with navy shoes and not nude.

I do love the cape dress look, the earrings and her hair and make up. Seeing you name this clutch made me realize she hasn’t carried a lot of unnecessary bags on this trip..yay!! This was a perfect clutch for an evening event.

I think it's the same Stella McCartney from the Queen's birthday concert.

Yes it's the same dress. If you click on the text link or image of the cape dress it will direct you to the product page where I have included a Style Gallery of the occasion(s) Meghan has worn the dress x

The Stella McCartney dress must've looked great, but who knows. The coat hanging off Meghan's shoulders was distracting, and did not photograph well...those wrinkles!

She looked so chic. She doesn't need to wear bright colors because she gets enough attention, plus she is glowing.

Well put Nicole. No one else seems to have noticed the sartorial brilliance of wearing neutral colors given the attention her wardrobe gets in the media. Especially the emphasis on blue and black. Her wardrobe choices often highlight the fact that she is at work and dressed appropriately / professionally for that environment. Brighter colours and patterns distract from the events / issues she may actually want the media to focus on.

Yes! So sick of the comments about color. She wears the colors she likes and she looks fabulous. I love her style.

Scratching my head why she would wear a coat over her shoulders whilst wearing a dress with a long cape detail? The coat hides the fact that it's a cape dress! The other women pictured are wearing dresses alone or suit jackets so it couldn't be very cold. Plus the navy shades clash and the coat is terribly wrinkled at the bottom. There are so many items in her wardrobe she could have worn that would have made more sense. Such as even the Givenchy coat with matching dress she wore to Eugenie's wedding.

Maybe because it was 15c (59F) overnight in Sydney and she was sitting outside for a few hours after a storm? Having grown up in Sydney, believe me when those storms come through the temp drops quickly. She might not have been planning on it being so cool

I don't think the colors clashed. Looks to be paired well. The bottom of the coat was a bit wrinkled, but they were outside for the ceremony and apparently the temp had dropped. Don't think the Givenchy coat would have worked being that it was more structured.
