The Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended a reception hosted by the Governor General tonight celebrating the 125th anniversary of women’s suffrage in New Zealand.
Meghan delivered a speech.

HANDBAG: Navy leather flap-front clutch bag with top handle (unidentified) - the design is very similar to her custom navy Dior 'Bee' satin pouch but Dior has denied ownership of the piece.
SHOES: Stuart Weitzman 'Nudist' black sandal (US$398).
NECKLACE: Tattoo Diamond Pendant by Jessica McCormack (NZ$17,400).
EARRINGS: Birks Snowflake Large Round Jacket Earrings.
PIN: The Royal British Legion Poppy Lapel Pin.

I think this was a very safe choice and fit the occasion...but it isn’t a knockout. She looks lovely...though her hair looked better and more done getting on the plane in the burgundy dress than it does here.

I like this dress. I like the sleeves. I'm not sure if sandals are the right shoes for this dress. Perhaps pumps would have been better.

I love everything about this look: dress, shoes, hair, make up and especially her fantastic Snowflake earrings. And I think she is a really good speaker. Thank you for the video clip, Elizabeth!
