The Duchess of Sussex attended the opening of the 'Oceania' exhibition at the Royal Academy of Arts in London this evening.

The event was Meghan's first solo engagement as a royal, and marked 250 years since Captain Cook’s first voyage to the Pacific. Later next month, Prince Harry and Meghan will undertake a royal tour of the region, including stops in Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Tonga.

The good...her hair has been looking really good at the last few engagements...I really like it down. Her make up is always on point and I read somewhere that she usually does it herself. I really like those earrings and am glad she wears them often.

That dress is horrible.

This dress would look better sleeveless, or with less voluminous sleeves if sleeves are required by protocol.

I love this dress the DOC never wears black to engagements but I love this outfit, maybe the shoes could have been satin or velvet but still great. I also love this belt as well.

Meghan looks beautiful and I love her confidence, but the dress is ugly. It would have been nicer without that velvet front panel. I hope she starts wearing some color soon.

This lovely dress will be suitable for Meghan when she is 60, and looks dowdy on her at her age. A younger, livelier silhouette, with more adventurous fabric choices and cut would be a great improvement.

Not a fan of the dress its fit and black again. Would like to see some colour. Though black for an evening function is better then during the day. The royals generally don't wear black during the day except at official occasions. The cost of some of the Meghan clothes and total outfits Wow you would need to do some repeats to get value for money.
