The pattern on the top/dress is unbecoming. Of the things she has in her wardrobe, she had to pick this!?

The pattern is accentuated by the fact that it is a zoom meeting and all the focus is on the chest. It wouldn't look as bad in full length.

I actually like the dress, but don't find it appropriate for a female leader summit. (I would wear it if hosting a summer dinner). She doesn't need to be in a suit , but a more business appropriate top was called for, in my opinion.

I agree. And it's not just the print. This style is very unprofessional for a work event, virtual or not. Spaghetti straps? She looks like she's going to the beach or the park.

I absolutely love this look! The earrings, her hair, and her stunning makeup - I’m obsessed with this natural, dewy makeup with the brown lip!

I’m surprised people don’t like the pattern, I love it! I think it goes great against the neutral background.

I love this dress...just not in this instance. This would look great on the beach with a glass of rose. Her hair and makeup are great. I also really love these earrings and will buy..what a great idea!!!

It's a good thing for Meghan that she has a title because nobody would take her seriously dressed like that at a business summit. I would be out of a job if I showed up to a business summit dressed like I would rather be sipping cocktails at a beachside resort. On the positive her makeup is flawless, and I love the versatile earrings.

This is the third time in as many “speeches” that she has blatantly plagiarized someone else’s words. This was word for word from a recent documentary. Perhaps we could start referencing where the words are coming from as well as the fashion? It is disheartening that she isn’t giving the credit to others when she is lifting things in their entirety. Words are just as worth copyright as designs. Thank you for considering.

I do write a brief blurb about the event to give context, but it's not the focus of the blog to dissect Meghan's speeches. I want the attention of the blog to remain on fashion and give my readers an opportunity to discuss style. There are plenty of media outlets that cover other aspects of Meghan's events, but I want to keep this space positive and light-hearted x
