Meghan in Stella McCartney for Remembrance Sunday Service

This morning members of the royal family gathered for the annual Remembrance Sunday commemorations at the Cenotaph in Whitehall, London. The Duchess of Sussex attended the ceremony and watched the service from the Foreign Office balcony alongside the Countess of Wessex and Vice Admiral Timothy Laurence.

WHAT MEGHAN WORE

COAT: Stella McCartney black wool coat with D-ring belt - a custom piece based on the designer's AW19 double-breasted coat (US$2,325).

Meghan's coat has a ribbed belt and the cuffs appear to be shortened compared to the off-the-rack version. We're unsure if Meghan's coat has the metal buttons.

Stella McCartney does have a D-Ring belted coat in her current collection but the belt seams are not a match :(

I mean it is a black coat...and perfect for the occasion. Nothing spectacular...nothing offensive. This is the kind of thing that could easily be a $200 coat because there is nothing special about it so I am curious what the cost/designer is. Also wish we could see more of the lace shirt.

This hat is a no for me. It looks like it belongs on a beach and is just not what I would choose for this occasion. Kate wore something similar a few years ago...dvf, I think and I didnt like it then either.

Apart from the thick eyeliner, I quite like her make-up here, similar to what she wore last year.

I actually tried to reproduce it this morning minus the eyelashes and liner.
