This afternoon, Queen Elizabeth II left Buckingham Palace for the last time. Her Majesty's coffin was transported on a Gun Carriage of The King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Hall where she will lay-in-state until the early morning of her funeral.
The somber procession down The Mall was led by her children, King Charles III, Princess Royal, Duke of York and Earl of Wessex, her grandchildren the Prince of Wales, Duke of Sussex and Peter Philips, and other senior royals.
The Duchess of Sussex followed the procession in a car alongside Sophie, The Countess of Wessex.
Meghan joined her husband's side inside Westminster Hall where senior royals stood in formation facing the coffin on its catafalque.
Dressed in her black Givenchy capelet coat, Meghan curtseyed the Queen's coffin before departing from Westminster Hall at the end of the service.
The Duchess honored Her Majesty by wearing the diamond and pearl earrings. They were gifted to her by the late Queen on the occasion of their first joint outing in 2018.
Meghan donned the Stephan Jones 'Veronique' hat.
The Duchess carried her Loewe 'Postal' Bag and on her feet were her Paul Andrew 'Pump-It Up' Pumps.
