The Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended the WellChild Awards ceremony this evening at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London.
Prince Harry is the patron of the UK charity which makes it possible for children and young people with exceptional health needs to be cared for at home instead of hospital, wherever possible. The annual awards recognise the courage of children and young people with serious illnesses and complex care needs. Also honoured at the star–studded ceremony are dedicated doctors, nurses, volunteers, brothers and sisters.

I love a power suit but black for a children's event? I'm guessing Meghan did this on purpose so the focus stays on the event.

Yawn. Another black ensemble with a blazer? This would have been a perfect event to bring in some color.

Meghan looks good in this outfit. It fits her nicely. I don't think it was appropriate for the event though. It draws too much attention to her not the charity. It is controversial and draws attention to her because it is black, pants and her messy bun. Black is definitely not something to wear around sick children. It is much more appropriate for a business meeting. I will admit I am not familiar with her as an actress. Did she only were dark colors then? She looks very somber.

Honestly, the more I think about it - the more I think this outfit was wildly inappropriate.

I agree what was she thinking to turned out in all black outfit for a sick kids charity event. She needs to focus on the event and style for those she is visiting not for some image she is trying to create. The royal family does not wear a lot of black during the day - on some occasion yes like remembrance day.

Princess Dianna always wear bright colours when with children. Could she not wear something brighter, colourful. Or even like that yellow dress but maybe in some other stunning inviting colour. The messy bun is cool, I like it. Who wants hair that is always stiff and straight. I like her style but it most of the time ill fitting, or not right for the occasion.

Were she having a meeting with some councilman, or stopping in to look at some plans for a new place to be opened - this outfit would not be out of place. I certainly don't dislike the outfit. It fits nicely, it's classic, it's refined.

She looks so good from head to toe in this outfit! :) Classic and modern at the same time.
