The Duchess of Sussex made her first official visit as Royal Patron of The Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU) today.

She met students and academics from across the ACU’s network of 500 university members at City, University of London. The ACU supports the development of higher education as a power for good across the Commonwealth and beyond.

Meghan opted to repeat the black Givenchy caplet coat she debuted at the Remembrance Sunday Service in November. Today we got to see the piece in its entirety.

I am loving her hair like this!!! Hope she does it more often. I like this coat much better than I did the first time..now that we can see the whole thing. Happy to see her recycling.

I need to see more of this skirt...it almost has a tulle like effect in the pictures so I already like it.

She looks great. It is extremely difficult to look this put together while pregnant and she has looked amazing the last few outings.

Also of note...no random, unnecessary clutch today!!

She looks cute yet chic and sophisticated all at the same time. I didn't like the hat from the first time she wore the Givenchy coat, but overall she looked lovely.
I love the flirty skirt from today paired with the open coat and nude heels.

Meghan looking superbly glamorous as always! That top knot is a winner :) Not a fan of the coat or the floating handkerchief skirt hem but they are all very fashionable and she wears them with panache. I was wondering if her black outfit was referencing the black robes of a university professor :-/ The nude shoes were an excellent choice, lightening the outfit nicely.

Interesting. I didn't really like the coat the 1st time she wore it. But, this time with the dress, it looks good. Interesting twist. I love the dress even without seeing the entirety of it. The bottom looks very good already.

Love the earrings again!

Her hair! The bun looks good.

Great look today. Even with a surprising twist of wearing tan pumps instead of black pumps with a black outfit.

She's glowing and she looks happy.

I am surprised she's not carrying a purse or holding a clutch of any kind. Would have been good to know which one she would use to co-ordinate with this outfit.

This look has glamour written all over it. The top knot is my new favorite hair style for the Duchess. Happy to see the coat in full length and the peck a boo pleated, semi sheer skirt is priceless. The Duchess is two for two with these great looks.

I’m not crazy about this look. She looks great in black but this seems to much like a funeral look — it is afterall what she wore to Remembrance Day.

Meghan looks so elegant in this all black outfit. The nude pumps make a nice contrast. The coat is fabulous and the hairstyle shows her beautiful face with the pretty bone structure. I love the trend back to true elegance and the art of dressmaking.

She looks beautiful, however I am not a fan of black so for me is too much black! I think she looks better when she uses more colour. Just an opinion!!
