The Duke and Duchess of Sussex continued their time in Melbourne with a visit to the Australian National Veterans Arts Museum.

Meghan Kicks Off Australian Visit in Karen Gee

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrived in Australia today for a four-day visit, with engagements across Melbourne, Canberra and Sydney. ​

Shortly after landing, the couple's first stop was the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne.

They greeted patients and well-wishers gathered in the foyer before making intimate visits with patients and their families in the Adolescent Oncology and Rehabilitation ward. They later joined patients and staff for a walk through the Kelpie Garden.

Following the hospital visit, the Duchess paid a solo visit to McAuley Community Services for Women, a shelter supporting women experiencing homelessness and family violence, where she helped serve lunch to residents.

To kick off the Down Under visit, Meghan wore a navy dress by Karen Gee, selecting the ‘Priscilla’ style (AU$1,250). The design features a sleeveless silhouette defined by sculpted lines, a softly structured skirt, and signature gold button detailing that lends a subtle point of distinction. A self-belt cinches the waist with intention, creating a balanced, streamlined shape while maintaining an air of quiet authority.

On Thursday, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) shared a glimpse into a truly special afternoon with the Duchess of Sussex.

Meghan’s visit was held in support of "Make March Matter", a month-long campaign dedicated to funding the lifesaving care, research, and innovation that define CHLA’s mission.​
A highlight of the day was her time in the Creative Oasis, where she joined young patients for a watercolor session—swapping stories and sharing in the simple, healing joy of painting.

Meghan Keeps It Sleek in Black with Zara Wool Jacket on Day Two in Jordan

On the second day of their visit to Jordan with the World Health Organization, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex highlighted the people and partnerships supporting communities affected by conflict.

The day began at World Central Kitchen’s regional headquarters in Amman, which coordinates food deliveries into Gaza. The Duke and Duchess met with teams overseeing convoys, community kitchens, mobile bakeries and water distribution, and joined a live call with staff working in Gaza.

​They then visited the National Center for Rehabilitation of Addicts (NCRA), where they met clinicians and spoke with men and women in treatment.

Discussions focused on recovery and the importance of prioritising mental health support. Meghan and Harry heard how WHO-supported services are improving care, from supervised detox to counselling and community follow-up. ​

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle joined the Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO), Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, for a high-profile visit to an addiction rehabilitation center in Jordan.

At the Jordanian Hashemite Fund for Human Development (JOHUD), the Duke and Duchess met community leaders involved in the “Mujaawarah” initiative, which promotes social cohesion and women-led advocacy. They heard from local organisers about community-based projects supporting livelihoods and wellbeing.

​The day ended at King Hussein Cancer Center, where Meghan and Harry met hospital leaders, clinicians, and young patients receiving cancer treatment. They discussed the challenges facing regional cancer services as conflict and displacement place added pressure on health systems, as well as WHO-supported efforts to improve access to care for children and families travelling for treatment.
