The Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrived in Australia today for a four-day visit, with engagements across Melbourne, Canberra and Sydney.
Shortly after landing, the couple's first stop was the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne.
They greeted patients and well-wishers gathered in the foyer before making intimate visits with patients and their families in the Adolescent Oncology and Rehabilitation ward. They later joined patients and staff for a walk through the Kelpie Garden.
Following the hospital visit, the Duchess paid a solo visit to McAuley Community Services for Women, a shelter supporting women experiencing homelessness and family violence, where she helped serve lunch to residents.
To kick off the Down Under visit, Meghan wore a navy dress by Karen Gee, selecting the ‘Priscilla’ style (AU$1,250). The design features a sleeveless silhouette defined by sculpted lines, a softly structured skirt, and signature gold button detailing that lends a subtle point of distinction. A self-belt cinches the waist with intention, creating a balanced, streamlined shape while maintaining an air of quiet authority.
Royal watchers may recall that Meghan also chose a design by the Sydney-based label to begin the Royal Visit Australia 2018, lending a sense of continuity to this latest appearance.
On her feet we the Dior 'Dioressence' Pumps in black leather, previously worn on a few occasions in 2023.
Meghan finished the look with a pair of earrings by Los Angeles based jeweller, Real Fine Studio - wearing the 'Puffy Hearts' studs in yellow gold (US$780).

Meghan is glowing despite the long haul flight to Australia! I love this style of dress on Meghan. She wears it so well and it looks beautifully tailored. The heart earrings are a lovely touch especially for the hospital visit.

This is one of the nicer dresses, I have seen Meghan wear. I'm glad she is supporting our local designers. The style and fit looks wonderful.
