On Friday, in honor of International Day of the Girl, The Duchess of Sussex visited Girls Inc. of Greater Santa Barbara.

This visit coincided with the announcement of contributions from The Archewell Foundation, Pivotal Ventures, and the Oprah Winfrey Charitable Foundation to support a partnership between Girls Inc. and #HalfTheStory, which aims to provide vital digital wellness programs for girls in underserved communities throughout the United States.

The CHLA Gala celebrates the courage of young patients and honors the exceptional physicians, researchers, and caregivers dedicated to creating hope and building healthier futures for children. The event typically features a dinner, live entertainment, and a silent auction. As a major fundraiser for the hospital, proceeds directly support its mission of delivering the highest quality care to children in need.
