The Duke and Duchess of Sussex travelled to Victoria, British Columbia on Friday for the David Foster Foundation’s 40th Anniversary Celebration.
Meghan shared a photo of herself and Harry en route to the event, before the couple was seen walking into the black-tie gala.
Harry and Meghan joined David Foster and his wife, Katharine McPhee, for the special evening, marking four decades of the foundation’s work.
Founded in 1986, the David Foster Foundation offers financial support to Canadian families with children undergoing life-saving organ transplants, helping to cover essential expenses not covered by insurance.
Meghan and Katharine are longtime friends, having attended the same middle school in Los Angeles and performed together in local musical theatre productions during their childhood. It's reported David and Katharine helped the couple find the Vancouver Island home after leaving the UK in 2019.
For the black-tie occasion, Meghan embraced an elegant evening look, stepping out in a one-shoulder cape gown by Canadian-based label Greta Constantine. The ‘Fabrizio’ style features a body-skimming silhouette, a dramatic asymmetric cape, and fluid draping throughout.
She carried her Gucci 'Broadway' Butterfly Embellished Satin Clutch and stepped out in her black Stuart Weitzman 'Nudist' sandals.
