Meghan & Harry attend Invictus Games 2025 Opening Ceremony

In the afternoon, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended a reception hosted by Premier David Eby at the BC Sports Hall of Fame to welcome the Invictus Games, where he officially declared it “Invictus Games Week” in British Columbia.

Later, Meghan and Harry attended the Invictus Games Open Ceremony, where 23 nations participated in a moving flag procession.

The event honored First Nations communities and featured performances by Chris Martin, Katy Perry, and more. Prince Harry also delivered a heartfelt speech.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have officially touched down in Canada for the highly anticipated launch of the Invictus Games 2025! Ahead of the official opening ceremony tomorrow, Meghan and Harry attended a welcome reception for the athletes and their families this evening.

Meghan donned the ‘Willow’ Pleated Midi Dress by New York-based brand A.L.C., a chic US$795 piece in a rich chocolate-plum hue.

Due to limited photos from the event, Meghan’s shoes aren’t clearly visible. Her earrings were also difficult to spot, though she seems to be wearing her signature Cartier watch and bracelet.

While visiting Altadena, California, with Prince Harry, she met a 15-year-old girl who had lost her home in the Los Angeles wildfires. The girl's only wish was to retrieve her Billie Eilish concert t-shirt, left behind in the washing machine. Touched by her story, Meghan promised to help, sending out a voice note in search of a connection. Soon after, a package arrived—signed Billie Eilish merchandise, including a t-shirt, lunchbox, and album.
