In 1997, French-born Roland Mouret took some fabric and, inspired by his own “greats” Azzedine Alaia and Yohji Yamamoto, he worked tirelessly to create a signature piece that reflected his style. The eponymous label is most famous for masterfully combining drapery and structure. It is quite clear why Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex adores Roland Mouret's ultra feminine designs.
